KARL HORWARTH

Reality Bites Events - Karl Horwarth
I have been involved in events for over 15 years, initially as a Sales and Marketing Executive with Singapore Airlines NZ (events such as the CHC Jazz Festival, Le Race, Kidsfest, Lantern Festival). In the last 6 years I have created and run a number of large-scale multi day or single day events including;
• Mainpower Light Festival
• The Rangiora Festival of Colour
• Waimakariri Winter Festival
The numbers attending these events range from 3500-12,000 people. The latest project was taking on the contract to produce the 2023 NZ Agricultural Show, the South Island's largest event, with over 120,000 visitors over three days. I am also a Café/Restaurant owner which gives me an advantage in assessing and running both the food side and any alcohol aspects of events, including holding a current Managers Certificate.
SARAH BROUGHTON

Seebee Events - Sarah Broughton
Previously a Project Manager Sarah Broughton has been involved since inception of events and is a cofounder of
the Waimakariri Winter Festival, Colour Festival and Light Festivals. For over 6 years Sarah has been specialising in
H&S, volunteer management and pack in and pack out management. Sarah also collaborates on the big picture
design, and her project management experience ensures all details are well covered running large scale events.
